Fees

  • Yes, all our class prices, shop items and general fees are inclusive of GST.

    You will see your GST itemised in your term invoice.

  • No, at RJPA we don’t do apply a sibling discount. We do have a sliding fee scale for each student enrolled into classes.

  • Your enrolment fee covers the following for each dance year:

    • Accident Insurance

    • Music Licensing

    • Awards

    • End of year trophies

    • Admin

  • Yes, RJPA accepts both the Active and Creative NSW kids vouchers.

    Simply send us your voucher (sent via email from ‘Service NSW’) and we can process this for you.

    Please note that two NSW active kids’ vouchers cannot be used within the same term, however creative and active kids’ vouchers can be used together at the same time.

    Vouchers are not redeemable for cash and are not refundable or transferable between children or activities.

  • Invoices are currently billed termly, with EFT or credit card as payment options.

    In 2024 we will also be introducing optional monthly direct debit.

Terms and Conditions

RJ Performing Arts does not issue credits or refunds for missed lessons. In the event of an extended absence due to illness, lessons can be credited for the next term upon receipt of a doctor’s certificate. Classes missed due to other scheduled activities or holidays will not be credited or refunded.

Classes cancelled last minute due to a teacher’s emergency absence or illness will either be rebooked at a suitable time (usually in the first week of the next school holidays), or if not convenient a credit will be applied for next terms classes.

Classes cancelled due to circumstances outside of RJ Performing Arts Academy’s control will be rescheduled for a later date. Where possible we will strive to continue offering our services to you, our customers either during the school holidays or in our online capacity.

Examples of situations which may force RJ Performing Arts classes to cease unexpectedly include:

  • Government mandated shutdowns due to COVID -19 or similar pandemics

  • Emergency weather events where it is deemed not safe to operate

  • The emergency closure of one of our premises due to OH&S

Withdrawal

If you wish to withdraw from classes at RJ Performing Arts Academy, notice must be given in writing 4 weeks before the withdrawal date.

Where notice is given less than 4 weeks before a new term commences (I.E., during the school holidays) you will be invoiced for 4 weeks tuition from the date of notice. Students may continue to attend classes after notice has been received by the academy up to your confirmed withdrawal date.

We are unable to refund term payments if a student decides to withdraw midterm.

Privacy

When you purchase or hire a product or service with RJ Performing Arts Academy, the information we may collect from you includes your name, address, telephone numbers, email addresses, medical information and perhaps credit card or bank details. It may also include details of the products and services we provide to you as well as the status of your enrollment. We only collect information directly from our students or their parent/guardians primarily for the purpose of providing services and products to you and to administer and manage invoicing and debt collection.

We may occasionally use your information to promote and market to you, information which we consider may be of interest to you unless you contact us and tell us not to do so.

We will never sell or pass on any of your information to third parties unless required by government authorities or in the event of debt recovery. Any information passed on will be done so with appropriate privacy and confidentiality protection.

Information is stored securely in paper or electronic form and is accessible only by authorised personnel.
